Royal Ascot Preview, Day Four

 Jun 22 2018

Day Four promises to be special with two Group One races including the Commonwealth Cup and Coronation Stakes.

James McDonald has four rides with his best ride being Equilateral ($5) in the Commonwealth Cup, which is in race three.

He also partners: Hawayel ($81) in race 1,  Elector ($11) in race 2 (which he rides for the Queen) and Eynhallow ($11) in race 6.

The first race of the day is the Group Three Albany Stakes at 11.30pm (AEST) and the sixth and final race of the day is the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at 2.35am (AEST).

Sky Racing’s International presenter, Richard Wade, will host the Sky Thoroughbred Central (Ch 528) coverage every night and below gives his thoughts and best bet on Day Four.

On Day Three he tipped the winner of race five in Ostilio who was $21 into $10 and the Gold Cup winner Stradivarius who paid $2.70.

All his Day Four tips and previews of each race can be found on the TAB App.

Richard’s One To Watch – Race 4 Coronation Stakes

The clash of the Guineas winners and I'd be favouring Newmarket heroine Billesdon Brook who's form and has been given a huge boost by Prix de Diane winner Laurens.

Another one not to miss  - Race 1 Albany Stakes

It's tough to pick between the Aidan O'Brien pair, I've narrowly favoured Fairyland but Ryan Moore rides Just Wonderful.

Richard’s Best Bet – Equilateral in Race 3 Commonwealth Cup

Equilateral is the ride James McDonald initially came to Royal Ascot for. He was a brilliant winner at Doncaster and could be something special.
