September highlights on Sky

Racing Springs to Life
Spring racing is back with some highly anticipated group races to look forward to!  Action starts on September 7 with Flemington's Makybe Diva Stakes Day and Chelmsford Stakes Day from Randwick.

September 14 sees Australia's best three-year-olds battle it out in the $1 million Golden Rose at Rosehill, while Moonee Valley hosts Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes Day.

Melbourne's first G1 of the month is the weight-for-age Underwood Stakes from Caulfield on September 21, while Sydney presents George Main Stakes Day from Royal Randwick.

Friday September 27 kicks off a huge weekend of racing with Schweppes Stakes Night at Moonee Valley featuring the G1 AJ Moir Stakes.  Stan Fox Stakes Day follows on Saturday from Rosehill, while on Sunday; it's the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes from Caulfield.

In International racing, Leopardstown hosts a G1 double on September 7, including the Irish Champion Stakes.  Doncaster's St Leger festival serves up seven Group races from September 11 – 14, plus September 14 also sees Ireland hosts four G1s including the Irish St Leger from The Curragh.

In greyhound racing, it's the G2 Shepparton Cup on September 9, while the highlight of the month is the $75,000 G1 Megastar from Dapto on September 12.
