The Hughie Morrison-trained six-year-old ran the opposition into the ground as he grabbed the Group Two spoils in emphatic fashion.
Umberto Rispoli had employed similar tactics on the 7-1 winner when successful over the course and distance in a Listed contest a month ago and were soon seen to good effect again.
Though the pack finally started the close, Nearly Caught was still three and a half lengths to the good at the line. Candarliya, Alain de Royer-Dupre's 4-5 favourite, was second with Trip To Rhodos third.
Morrison said: "He's obviously improved 10lb coming to France. Going left-handed and a flat track and travelling - you wouldn't believe it.
"He's probably improved another 7lb from when he won there the other day.
"It's great to win the race again, having won it 11 years ago (with Alcazar).
"He's entered at Ascot (in the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup), but you would definitely consider the Cadran on Arc weekend."
