'Sore' Sam Twiston-Davies swerves Kempton

 Nov 15 2017

The jockey took a tumble from Double Ross, trained by his father Nigel, at the second fence in the veterans' handicap chase.

His agent Chris Broad said: "He had a fall and then he rode in the bumper, but his arm was sore this morning so he's having it checked out. I've spoken to him and he said he couldn't ride today. He's got like a dead arm. He's having it looked at."

Twiston-Davies had four booked mounts at the Sunbury venue, including in both of the two-runner races.
