Hush can silence opposition

Feb 23 2017

~~
With Charli Parcs likely to be sent off at prohibitive odds, the Evan Williams-trained Evening Hush should provide some each-way value in the Grade 2 Adonis Juvenile Hurdle at Kempton on Saturday night.Live on Sky Racing 1, the Adonis is always a key pointer towards the big novice hurdles at the Cheltenham Festival next month and all eyes will be on the Nicky Henderson-trained Charli Parcs who would only be having his third career start and his second in Britain after a superb stable debut over this track and distance at the end of last year. The four-year-old ran out a comfortable eight length winner from Alan King’s Master Blueyes who is set to reoppose on Saturday. Charli Parcs immediately became a leading contender for either the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle or the JCB Triumph Hurdle and will be odds-on to follow up on Saturday. That may well happen however his presence will open up the market and provide some each-way value elsewhere.
